Type Two (mobile)
The PTS Type 2 mobile bucking unit can be utilized with both non marking inserts and conventional steel pyramid “teeth” dies. The type 2 has an 11 ¾” continuously rotating tong module with an 8 5/8” backup. Powered by a diesel HPU, torque turn compatible, and has a maximum torque capability of 18,000- foot pounds.
Type Three (stationary)
The PTS Type 3 stationary bucking units can be utilized with both non marking inserts and conventional steel pyramid “teeth” dies. The type 3 has an 11 ¾” continuously rotating tong module with a 11 ¾” backup. Powered by an electric HPU, torque turn compatible, and has a maximum torque capability of $42,000- foot pounds.
